Stay hydrated - or caffeinated - (or both) as you travel the slow lane. Lowd Vans Applebox provides a convenient and secure spot to pop your drinks of choice while you are driving. The Applebox has two easily accessed cup holders, that suit everything from take aways or keep cups, to hydro flasks or water bottles. There's also a spacious flat surface, for easy access to your bag and other travel essentials, equipped with thoughtful details like a raised edge to stop your phone from sliding off and disppearing down the side of the seat. And right at the front there's a useful slot for maps or booklets.

Behind the cup holders our Applebox houses an indispensible and discreet shallow storage area, ideal for protecting sensitive electrical equipment. Accessed via a hinged lid with push catch, this useful 'secret' compartment offers ample space for laptop or tablet plus cords and chargers. Or you can simply use it to take care of delicate items like magazine or books.

Ventilated drawer for perishables
When we say the Applebox is cool, we mean it literally. We have found its deep pull-out larder really is the coolest spot in our camper van. Maintaining an even low temperature is invaluable when you have fresh goods to preserve. The drawer has ventilation holes in each side to prevent moisture build up and thus avoid rot. As its name rightly implies, this is the perfect place to store fresh fruits like apples, pears or even passionfruit. Its also great for avocados and tomatoes or citrus like lemons and limes. Like a breadbox the Applebox also solves the age old camping problem of how to keep bread or bagels cool and fresh.
We're always experimenting with what ours is good for - we even successfully (albeit accidentally) tested its limits with some chocolate Easter eggs one year that had got forgotten in the Applebox drawer on a scorching hot 40ºC day! Miraculously they all survived without melting and were gratefully gobbled up.
The Applebox drawer dividers can also be removed if you prefer to store larger items. Of course you don't have to use it just for food either. One customer told us he uses it to store his drone!
